Well I finished reading the book last night. I will say that now I have a better understanding of what every thing is now and how it works. It seemed to take me a little long to read than I wanted to, because I have an 8 year old who is addicted to Super Mario Bros. well maybe both of us are I should say and by the way I am at world 8 with a little help from Luigi. find it amazing that a video game can take over every spare minute that you have in a day and should I say even the times when you should be doing other things. I still have yet to get the RSS feeds set up for every bodies blog as of last week Thursday.

Pete, play with your 8 year old as much as you want. Time goes too quickly. I remember having to miss my son's last JV football game because of Parent-Teacher conferences. I asked to leave a little early so that I could travel to the game (about 30 miles or so). He said no and that I would be able to watch him during the next season. I never saw him play football again because he died the next summer just before school started. As a result, I say enjoy every minute you can with your children! Nothing in life is more precious.
ReplyDeleteYes, I thought the book was good, too. I just haven't had time to do all of the exploration that I should, and I haven't signed up for everything yet. I have the blog but not much else. Just commenting on everyone's blog is a lot! I don't know if I have RSS feeds set up or not, but I did the follow thing so I can see updated blogs. I am trying, but I am just not getting very far!
